Our event will start
with a Keynote Address from Adam Pertman - who is a Pulitzer nominee,
Executive Director of the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute, and
author of the acclaimed "Adoption Nation: How the Adoption Revolution is Transforming
Our Families - and America" (updated issue to be published in March 2011). As one of the country’s leading experts on adoption and
family issues, Mr. Pertman is widely quoted in the media and has been a
guest on many radio and television programs, including "Oprah", "Today",
"The View" and "Nightline". He has received numerous awards for his
work on behalf of children and families, and we are honored and excited
to have him kick off our day!

Following the Keynote
Address, the day will be broken up into four time slots, during which
several workshops will run concurrently in each session. As always, we
will have an Exhibitor Hall, which will include agencies and attorneys,
as well as services and products for pre and post adoptive families.

Women & Children First Bookstore will be on hand with a wide array of books for purchase; the book & merchandise store will be accessible all day.
